Advert - About smashing stereotypes - the idea about don't judge a book by its cover . 


The idea is to get different females and males to come in front of the camera and say something impactful that would definitely shock the audience we are going to create a timelapse of videos of different people . The reason behind us choosing this idea is because its a good way to get our message across about not everyone is how they appear to be it's all about smashings stereotypes , the idea is to get different colours and backgrounds and efficiencies . This video expresses colourism , how people prefer the idea of light skin females over dark skinned females , in our advert we will be showing more of a diversity and difference in colour and behaviour, it's more about equality instead of indifference . Our idea is mainly based on forming a campaign advert against discrimination , colourism and smashing stereotypes the typical don't judge a book by its cover type of statement , for us to address these particular topics we will either need to find actors that are willing to be filmed and put together an ideal profile for them to get familiar with and grasp what type of person they will be acting out . Our original idea was to get real life people who are stereotyped everyday for the way they look or what colour they are , who they described to be in the public eye , what are they really are behind the mask for example one of our first ideas was to get an asian man publics label chicken and chips owner real label GAY .We all judge a book by its cover but we never know what's really inside until we actually get to read it , that is the magic with this campaign , we want people to look deeper than the outside . We think just because a man acts very feminine he is automatically gay because of the way he carries himself , a normal football player hes supposed to have a girlfriend or wife that stigma is the attached to his profession but he could really be gay . Just because a girl is blonde does not mean she is dumb . The point is that we want to show people that attaching a label to someone is wrong and we should always look deeper than the label .

I was then thinking we could get them to hold up a sign , each sign will go in a timelapse , we will go to the beginning once they then rip that sign in half , the new sign will appear , the empathise what we are trying to do , I aware that this has been done before but the way we are going to make it different is we are going to have a serious diverse range of people no person will be the same , in doing so we are going to implicate a message within the advert so that people can take away a clear understanding of what we are trying to put out there . smashing stereotypes is important we can't keep this continuous cycle its becoming repetitive. We are almost making something life a collage an expression of a emotions and feelings wrapped into one . A montage of different things wrapped into one all to do with smashing stereotypes , and just purely eliminating the ideal stereotypes.
