Our smashing stereotype project had a concept of the idea about ''don't judge a book by its cover''. The reason for us choosing to do this is because we believe in today's generation and society people cannot be themselves without having a label on them, for example a male may act feminine however will still get labelled as ''gay''. The reason behind us choosing this idea is because its a good way to get our message across about not everyone is how they appear to be it's all about smashings stereotypes , the idea is to get different colours and backgrounds and efficiencies. The professional media products that inspired us was an advert on colourism and dark skin people here is a link.

I think we managed our time and resources really well, the fact that we had other projects going on at the same time, we managed to film and edit all of it due for the deadline, we done this through communicating to each other on days we were in together and the days we weren't in college, through pre-production, we came up with the idea really easily and quickly, this is because we both had the same idea and we decide to put it both ideas together to create our final piece of work. Moreover our production was really rapid and easy, we had our plan set out, we had a our shot plan and also risk assessment done, so we just followed that and started recording, we had an idea of using the green screen because we felt like we could add a background that could connote the idea of smashing stereotypes however we decided to leave black because we felt like black would draw more attention to the dialogue and people in shot. While filming the only issue we had was finding our actors, because our actors was only being used for 30 seconds we needed at least 5 actors to make a long enough video, eventually we found our 5 and complete filming, finally our Post-Production was fairly challenging
