Social Action Reflection
Who am i?
My name is Neset Duran, im 18 currently on my final year studying media at Leyton Sixth Form College, i have a lot of interests within the media industry, these would be photography, filmmaking, and journalism, however outside the media industry my interests are collecting trainers, this has become a hobby for a good 2 years, i have about 30+ pairs of trainers, 20 of it being limited which means they wouldn't release again. My ambitions in life is to be mainly successful however, i would specifically like to be a successful editor, but i also have many other things i am interested in, these being becoming a filmmaker, film director, and a sport journalist. Reasons for this is because i have a passion for watching films and i love creating content, and i would love to pursue a career in that, moreover sports journalism is a thing i would also love to get into, this is because sports is a thing i do in my spare time, to be specific football is the sport i love, i do have a passion to play and watch football.
What issues matter to me?
There are a lot issues that matter to me in today world, these would be racism, pollution, and crime. Firstly i believe racism has been going on for way to long and i believe the authorities are not taking a lot of action and are not being harsh on this topic, and people don't face enough prosecution. Pollution has gotten worse over the past couple of years however the government are trying to do things to improve this but i still believe it's not enough, i would suggest that the government needs to find a better solution to resolve this, one way i thought that would be a good idea to reduce this, is by having items recycled and rewarded with money, for example 1 recyclable can would reward people 10p, this is good for everyone especially it would affect homeless people this give everyone opportunities and its saving the world.
