Theory into practice - Plan

My Plan: My plan is to explore associative montage in more depth and create something different, to create an Associative Sarealism Montage, what I will be doing is creating a music video with different types of clips to make a whole music video.
Outline your idea for the Smashing Stereotypes project and your reasons for choosing this idea ● Which professional media products inspired you and how? ● How well did you manage your time and resources throughout the planning, production, and post- production phases? ● Which theory points might be relevant to your finished product? How and why use examples are taken from your piece ● What have you learned from this project that might be useful for the next project / FMP? ● Bibliography/List of references For the Smashing stereotypes project, I produced an campaign advert against stereotypes whereas a group me and my partner found actors to hold up a sign stating what people stereotype them as then we got them to say a slogan at the end for example " that's not me " we wanted them to break that stigma about them the whole idea about " Don't judge a book by its cover "  so on that note the professional media that inspired me to create such a piece is...

DeepFake/Truth

The Specialist study and the FMP have the theme of "TRUTH" The Specialist study: Is a piece of academic writing (essay). Clear Structure includes referencing, bibliography. Explore a theoretical perspective that interests you. e.g - To what extent is the news truthful e.g - Drawing on action movies, to what extent is gender identity "fixed"? e.g - An exploration of  "fly on  the wall documentary"  e.g - Influencers and how they create versions of themselves - effects audience self-esteem. e.g - Truth in Adverts e.g - Taylor Swift and how she creates an image   Deepfake - Very convincing AI spoof videos. Tech is advancing very rapidly How do we know whether the news is the official or fake   Source of the news should help us to know if it's fake

Social awareness project (Michelle)

How can we create awareness of the mental health issues developed through the use of social media. You can use social media and create a page to promote awareness and get people to share the page and in turn gain more publicity. Also you could create some sort of media material such as a short film or documentary to promote mental health issues. Our idea: An advert for a website that helps people who are addicted to social media stop being addicted. We have chosen to create this because, as a group, we feel that in today’s society, there are lots of people, especially teens, are addicted to social media and it’s taking over our lives. We want to raise awareness and show our target audience that they can get help via our website dedicated to helping those who suffer from addiction to social media.  Our approach: We are taking inspiration from TLC’s “my strange addiction” and are going to have a character who is addicted to social media and we are going to help him stop...

Smashing Stereotypes Reflection

Outline your idea for the Smashing Stereotypes project and your reasons for choosing this idea ● Which professional media products inspired you and how? ● How well did you manage your time and resources throughout the planning, production and post- production phases? ● Which theory points might be relevant to your finished product? How and why, use examples taken from your piece ● What have you learned from this project that might be useful for the next project / FMP? ● Bibliography / list of references Our smashing stereotype  project had a concept of  the idea about ''don't judge a book by its cover''. The reason for us choosing to do this is because  we believe in today's generation and society  people cannot be themselves without having a label on them, for example a male may act feminine  however will still get labelled as ''gay''.  The reason behind us choosing this idea is because its a good way to get our message across about not...
